Overview

The Wheel was a huge, torture device in the Fourth Circle. It turned constantly, crushing the souls beneath with its weight. When he first comes across the wheel, a battle against multiple demons will break out, consisting primarily of Temptresses, a Glutton and a Demon. Dante used an Asterian Beast to knock the great wheel over onto a lake of molten gold and confronted the Damned soul of his own father upon the wheel.

Trivia

  • In "Inferno", Virgil explains the Wheel of Fortune to Dante as they travel through the Fourth Circle of Hell. He explains how the turning of the wheel results in all the events, both good and bad, that occur on Earth.
