The Damned is an achievement/trophy in Dante's Inferno.
Overview[]
This achievement/trophy is obtained by absolving all 27 Condemned Souls located throughout the nine circles of Hell. It is worth 30 points and a silver trophy on the PlayStation 3, and 50 points on the Xbox 360.
It does not matter when they are absolved, so long as they are dealt with. This trophy will be unlocked once the player absolves Count Ugolino in Treachery, the last of the Damned before Dante faces Lucifer.
Important to note, that though this achievement is unlocked regardless of whenever Dante absolves the Damned, there are two Achievements that can only be unlocked by absolving specific souls. These include the following:
- Francesca and Paolo: the player will earn both The Damned achievement and the "Forbidden Love" Achievement if they absolve these two shades.
- Brunetto Latini: absolving this shade will earn the "Old Friend" Achievement in addition to The Damned achievement.
