The Church was a location in Dante's Inferno.
Overview[]
It overlooked Dante's estate in Florence and the graveyard adjacent to it. It was here that Dante encountered Beatrice's spirit a second time, telling him that he broke his promise. This was also the place where the Cross became charged with holy energy, allowing it to be used as a weapon in the Inferno.
The church was destroyed soon after, breaking away and revealing the Gates of Hell below. The enemies that are encountered here are the Fire Sprites, Hell Minions, Pests and an Asterian Beast. The very first green fountain and Beatrice Statue could be found outside as well.
