Saif Alfalasi was born in London and raised in Dubai. He has done tours in drama schools of Switzerland, New York, Paris, and London.

He received his academic degrees from New York University, double-majoring in Romance Languages (French and Italian Literature) and Drama (at the Sanford Meisner Studio). He also dallied at NYU for a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. Whilst in Paris, Saif was welcomed into the Cours Florent drama troupe, for whom he played the part of Gennaro in Victor Hugo's highly acclaimed "Lucrece Borgia" at the Francois Truffaut Theatre. For a time in London, he was part of the staff at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
