Also known as YHWH/Allah/Adonai/Elohim/Yahweh/Jehovah is the almighty Lord and Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. He is the Source of all Love and Life. However, after God made humans in His ‘image’, and declaring them His new favored creation, Lucifer grew jealous and was unwilling to bow to what he saw as lesser and inferior beings. Therefore, Lucifer along with his angels rebelled against Him, He banished Lucifer and his minions down into Hell as punishment. God was mentioned only, but was never personally seen in-game. Lucifer claimed that God was "the true evil" and anyone would rebel if they knew the truth about Him, but Dante dismissed his words as lies.

God was the only being who was not an angel, but was associated with Heaven who was mentioned in the game.
