Dee Baker is an American actor who voiced the role of Death in Dante's Inferno.


Dee Baker was born in Indiana and grew up in Greeley, Colorado. He has performed steadily since the age of nine in musicals, operas, plays, improv and stand up comedy. He studied Philosophy, German, and Biology in college.

Dee's life long success in a broad range of performing eventually led him to Los Angeles where he is now widely recognized as one of the most versatile and sought after voice-actors in the business. Over the past two decades, he has built an impressive resume’ with his remarkable acting range as well as with his striking control of his vocal instrument.

His enthusiasm for vocal experimentation and love of monsters and animals has enabled him to master a wide range of uncanny if not downright unbelievable sounds. He has also become the "go to guy" in film, television and interactive games for creating realistic animal, alien and monster sounds. He loves what he does.


  • Baker was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters, honoris causa at his alma mater, Colorado College, on September 5, 2005.
  • He is most famously known for his voice work as Klaus on American Dad!, Naga on The Last Airbender, and multiple characters on Batman: Arkham City.
